Working at the castle

Cambria and Jon have been absorbed into the castle workforce. They do so happily, given the generous hospitality of their hosts, Caroline and Aurel. And there is precedent here, with Lee and Dante each working at the castle as well.

This weekend is the annual pumpkin and squash festival, so all of our effort has been in preparation for the big event.

On our first afternoon, we picked pumpkins in the fields right next the castle:

The next help we offered came in the form of Cambria modeling for the brochure. She is the Princess of the Festival. Here she is, striking a pose:

Tomorrow, we will be helping in the kitchen, and Cambria may also don the costume and take some photos with the kids.
