Roughing it in Paris

Caroline and Aurel are hosting us for a week in Paris. 

Their apartment is incredible. Right on the western tip of Ile St Louis, on the top floor, we are smack dab in the middle of Paris. Here is a visual tour:

Fresh baguettes from the bakery downstairs. 6 different cheeses from the cheese shop, also downstairs. And a couple bottles of Bordeaux. Aurel and Caroline are spoiling the hell out of us, and it is only our first night!!!

A few years ago, right after our trip to Fiji, Aurel and Caroline went to Papua New Guinea. They barely made it back alive, but they came home with some incredible art. Here's Jon next to his favorite piece. He is already looking into borrowing it for Halloween on Key West.
