Jesse's French beach house

One of the main themes of our Europe trip has been "stay with friends." Jon has been dreaming about Jesse's place in Seignosse for the last 15 years. The stars have finally aligned and we're here with Jesse and Angela. Even after all that time building up expectations, the expectations have been blown away. Here is the view from the balcony. The sand dunes in the distance separate the apartment building from the beach. Takes 5 minutes to be in the water:
The apartment is cozy. One of the few apartments in the world smaller than Jon and Cam's. So we are very well conditioned to thrive in such an environment. With a little unpacking, there is a ton of living space. A perfect little spot to recover from a big day on the beach:

This is the shirt Jesse is going to wear to the pro contest this morning. The local wine is very good. Just up the road is a little wine region called Bordeaux:
