We started in Munich and drive south towards Austria. Only about 45 minutes out of Munich, the mountains jutted up and the scenery was immediately alpine.

We crossed into Austria and each little town was charming. Tom and Lee told us in Fiji that we HAD to go to the town of Lech while were in the Alps. They also told us where to stay in Lech. Tom and Lee, if you are reading this, THANK YOU!!!

We would recommend Lech to anyone who loves charming little mountain towns!
