Paris: lunch and a stroll through Montmartre

We stayed away from Sacre Coeur and its immediate surroundings ... it is packed with tourists and pickpockets. Not appealing.

So we explored the more local streets, which are are hilly, narrow:
The buildings are beautiful:
And the cats have no fear of cars:
There are plenty of cafes:
The little side streets had tons of charming little wine bars and boutique shops:
Aurel made reservations at this killer little restaurant. Cam and Jon took le Metro, and had a good feeling about the place before even setting foot inside:

The food was incredible. Here is an heirloom tomato dish, with basil and balsamic. So simple, fresh, and delicious!
And the conversation was no-holds-barred... Jon got a full tutorial on proper French manners!!
