Chinon is a quaint medieval town about 15 minutes from Chateau du Rivau. It was the capital of France in the 1300s, before the capital was moved north to Paris.

The streets in the old medieval quarter were narrow and had beautiful hanging signs:
We found a farmers market:
With fresh flowers for sale as well:
And a corner cafe:
Cam looked beautiful next to the ivy covered walls:
She couldn't resist the Boulangerie with the line out the door. Yes, it was good:
On our way back to Le Rivau, Caroline to us to a beautiful medieval church with art all over the walls:
And then headed back to Le Rivau for lunch at Le Petit Maison where Caroline was looking very elegant:
