On our first afternoon at the castle (while Jon and Cam were napping and Caroline should have been napping) she gave a tour to 20 German visitors, in fluent German. She was disappointed in herself because she didn't understand the dialect some of the people were using on the tour that was specific to a southern region in Germany.
She had to hurry off to Chinon after dinner because she is on the regional agricultural council, and they were having a board meeting.
She ran a very tight restaurant operation and gave Jon and Cam excellent training and feedback.
And then she flew us from Le Rivau up to Paris, in the family helicopter:

The helicopter is a former French Army vehicle, hence the killer camo paint job. It still has the missile launcher buttons on the stick:
We flew over the Loire Valley on the way to Paris. We saw several gorgeous castles. Here is Chenenceau (built over the river!):
