Miami

We made it back to the US. Sort of. Miami is only *technically* in the US. So coming back through Miami was a "gentler" transition than if we had come back to say, Chicago, after 2 months in Europe. While in Miami, we got to stay with some dear old friends, Tony and Ana. They are some if the sweetest, most generous people we know. We walked from their lovely house in Coral Gables to a cool Cuban restaurant and had a delicious dinner. Yuca, plantains, camarones, rice and beans, cafe con leche, the works! Here I am with Ana:

We had a nice breakfast with the family before getting on the road to Key West:

We are already looking forward to Friday Nov 8th, when we come back through Miami and get to see Tony's family again!
