Got some fun surf in Lennox Head

After saying farewell to Robbie and Paul, we headed south towards Lennox Head. Lennox is one of the best surf areas in Australia, and we lucked out. While the surf was pretty small, the winds were offshore when we arrived, the crowds were thin, and the sandbars were really nicely formed. It also turned out that our campground was right across the street from one of the best sandbars on the whole beach:
We were stoked! Check this left running! I got a few little barrels and Cam did well on her Stoker:
That is Lennox Head off in the distance. There is a righthand point break out there, but it wasn't working because it needs a bit more swell:
Right on the other side of those pine trees is the beach. 30 seconds from van to ocean! 
We'd come back to Lennox Head in a heartbeat! This is also where the blog got resurrected.
